Charitable Contribution

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (KS005930, KS005935, SMSN, SMSD) ("SEC") on October 29, 2026, announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the following contributions.

1. Contribution to the Ho-Am Foundation (the "Foundation")

 - Samsung will contribute KRW 4.11 billion to the Foundation to be used for its presentation of the

  Samsung Ho-Am Prizes in the following six fields:

   ∙ Physics/Mathematics,

   ∙ Chemistry/Biology,

   ∙ Engineering,

   ∙ Medicine,

   ∙ Art, and

   ∙ Volunteering

2. Contribution to the Korea Association of Athletics Federation (the "Federation")

 - Samsung will contribute KRW 1.26 billion to the Federation to be used for hosting and participating

  in domestic and overseas competitions, as well as for domestic and overseas training.
