Charitable Contribution

 

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (KS005930, KS005935, SMSN, SMSD) ("SEC"), on August 21, 2026, announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the following contribution:

 

Contributions to a fund to provide performance incentives for outstanding business partners of the Device Solutions (DS) Division

- Purpose: Contribute to preventing safety accidents at business sites, improving quality, and expanding mutual cooperation activities with business partners

- Contribution Amount: KRW 78.9 billion

- Eligible Recipients: Small and medium-sized enterprises among on-site business partners of the DS Division

- Payment Method: Safety incentives to be paid twice a year (Sep 2026 and Feb 2027); productivity incentives to be paid once a year (Feb 2027)

 

Safety incentives will be paid according to partner grade based on each company's evaluation results, while productivity incentives will be provided to those not eligible for safety incentives

SEC will contribute to the Korea Foundation for Cooperation of Large & Small Business, Rural Affairs,  which will distribute the incentive to the eligible suppliers
