Notification of contract wins
RTC Group Plc (AIM: RTC.L) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Ganymede Solutions Limited ("Ganymede"), has been awarded new and extended contracts with major UK infrastructure and energy clients, further strengthening the Group's position as a key delivery partner in the upgrade and maintenance of critical national infrastructure; and consistent with the Group's key strategy of developing and retaining longer term earnings streams.
1. Network Rail Contract Extension
Ganymede has agreed an extension to its existing contract with Network Rail for the provision of frontline labour across key regions of the UK rail network.
The contract, which originally commenced in October 2021, has been extended through to October 2029 and covers the supply of skilled personnel across the Kent, Sussex and Scotland regions, alongside the national provision of Signalling & Telecoms (S&T) and Electrification & Plant (E&P) staff.
The extension is expected to generate revenues to the Group of over £50m over the contract period.
2. Network Rail Isolation and Associated Services Contracts
Ganymede has also been awarded three contracts by Network Rail under its Isolation and Associated Services framework, covering the Eastern, Northwest & Central, and Wales & Western regions.
The contracts will commence on 1 May 2026 and have an initial term of three years, which may be extended up to a maximum term of six years. These contracts will see Ganymede expand its service offering in electrification and isolation services across the UK rail network.
3. OVO Smart Meter Engineers Contract Extension
Ganymede has secured an extension to its contract with OVO for the provision of smart meter engineers. The agreement, originally established in 2017, will continue through to the end of 2026 and is expected to generate revenues of approximately £5 million in 2026.
4. Amey Contingent Labour Framework Agreement
Ganymede has entered into a contingent labour framework agreement with Amey Rail Services Limited, Amey Infrastructure Wales Limited and Amey OWR Limited, following a competitive tender process.
The framework has an initial term of three years from March 2026, with an option to extend for a further two years and will see Ganymede continue to provide contingent labour services across Amey's rail operations.
Commenting on the awards, Andy Pendlebury, Chairman and CEO, said:
"We are pleased to extend our long-standing relationships with Network Rail and OVO, and to secure further contract awards across our core markets. These developments reflect the continued confidence of our clients in Ganymede's ability to deliver high quality workforce solutions and support the Group's strategy of developing long-term earnings streams."
As is customary in the industry, and consistent with RTC's other contracts, these new contract wins are framework contracts with no minimum volumes or guarantee of revenue.
