Proposed Director Appointment

Rome Resources plc (AIM: RMR), the DRC-focused tin and copper explorer, announces the proposed appointment of Mr. Edward Loye as non-executive director to the board of Rome Resources (the "Board").

Mr. Loye is an experienced geologist and entrepreneur in the non-ferrous metals sector, being the founder of Namibia-focussed E-Tech Metals (now ReeXploration Limited TSXV: REE). He is currently CEO of Great Western Mining Corporation plc, a copper, gold and tungsten developer in Nevada, USA. He will bring a wide range of skills to the Board including critical minerals and corporate development.

The proposed appointment of Mr. Loye to the Board remains subject to the approval from the Company's nominated adviser and completion of the customary due diligence to satisfy itself as to board composition and the suitability of the proposed director for the purpose of the AIM Rules for Nominated Advisers.

A further announcement, including the requisite Schedule 2(g) disclosure required under the AIM Rules for Companies, will be made in due course upon Mr. Loye's appointment to the Board.
