In accordance with UKLA Listing Rule 21.20 (l)(i), the Company declares that, at
30 November 2003, it did not hold any investments in other investment companies
which themselves do not have stated investment policies to invest no more than
15% of their total assets in other listed investment companies.

Unless and until this situation changes, the Company is not required and does
not intend to release monthly announcements regarding such holdings.
