REVEILLE RESOURCES PLC
("Reveille", or the "Company")
Appointment of Mike Pompeo as Board Chairman
Reveille [AQSE: REV], a UK natural resources exploration and development company with a primary focus on Italy's largest uranium deposits, is delighted to announce the appointment of The Hon. Michael R. Pompeo as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, subject to the successful completion of customary regulatory due diligence and onboarding requirements, including the provision of all information and documentation reasonably required by the Company and its Aquis Corporate Adviser, Allenby Capital Limited.
Secretary Pompeo served as the 70th United States Secretary of State from 2018 to 2021, having previously served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 2017 to 2018. Before joining the Executive Branch of the US Government, he served three terms as a Member of the United States House of Representatives for Kansas’ 4th District from 2011 to 2017. After beginning his career as an officer in the United States Army, Secretary Pompeo graduated first in his class from the United States Military Academy at West Point and subsequently from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. His career at the highest levels of the United States Government provides Reveille with an exceptional degree of international leadership experience, combined with deep insight into geopolitics, energy security, strategic policy and global institutional engagement.
Outside public service, Secretary Pompeo holds various business, investment and board roles. He is a Partner and member of the Investment Committee of Niobrara Capital Partners, a US private-equity firm. He is also a director of VEON Ltd. (Nasdaq: VEON), a global digital operator with a market capitalisation of approximately US$4.8 billion. Secretary Pompeo is a Non-Executive Director of ACG Metals Limited (LSE: ACG), a London-listed copper producer with an approximately US$600 million market capitalisation. He also serves as a director of Nasdaq-listed digital-risk intelligence company Cyabra, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYAB).
As Non-Executive Chairman, Secretary Pompeo’s mandate will be to provide strategic leadership to the Board of Directors (the “Board”) and support Reveille’s development as an internationally recognised uranium exploration and development company. He will advise on the Company’s positioning in relation to energy security, critical-minerals and nuclear-fuel supply chains; support its engagement with Italian government and institutional stakeholders, US institutional investors, potential US funding sources and strategic partners; and assist the Board in evaluating uranium exploration and development opportunities in Italy and other Western-aligned jurisdictions, as well as relevant corporate-development opportunities.
Secretary Pompeo is of Italian heritage, with family roots in the Abruzzo region. During an official visit to Italy as Secretary of State in 2019, he visited his ancestral home region and publicly described himself as a proud Italian-American. This connection is particularly relevant to Reveille, as certain of its largest shareholders, Directors and Founders are Italian, and the Company conducts its Italian activities through its subsidiary, Futuro Energetico Italiano S.r.l. The appointment further reinforces the Company’s long-term commitment to Italy.
Secretary Pompeo’s appointment is for an initial term of three years, subject to the Company’s articles of association, applicable law and shareholder re-election where required.
In connection with his appointment, the Company will issue Secretary Pompeo options (the “Options”) to acquire 7,000,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company (“Ordinary Shares”). The grant and issue of the Options is subject to his formal appointment to the Board.
The Options will be fully vested and immediately exercisable upon grant at an exercise price equal to a fair market value of the Ordinary Shares, being the closing middle-market price on Aquis Growth Market on 5 October 2026 of £0.0725 (7.25 pence). The Options will remain exercisable until the third anniversary of Secretary Pompeo’s appointment to the Board and will be governed by an option agreement.
Following Secretary Pompeo’s appointment as Non-Executive Chairman, Andrea Cattaneo has transitioned from his role as Chairman to that of Non-Executive Deputy Chairman. Mr Cattaneo is the Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Energy Ltd., the Company’s largest shareholder.
The Hon. Michael R. Pompeo, Proposed Non-Executive Chairman, commented:
“Energy security is national security. Europe’s strength and strategic autonomy will depend on its ability to secure reliable supplies of the materials on which its energy system depends, working with trusted partners and reducing dependence on sources that may be subject to geopolitical pressure. No country should be able to hold Europe hostage over its energy security.
Uranium is not simply another commodity: it is a strategic metal that underpins nuclear generation, industrial resilience and long-term energy independence. The responsible exploration and definition of uranium opportunities in Western-aligned jurisdictions is therefore of increasing importance.
Italy’s renewed consideration of nuclear energy is significant. Europe cannot secure its energy future while remaining dependent on others for the materials that make that future possible.
Reveille is not here to promise immediate production. The job now is to explore responsibly, define the opportunity and establish what may be possible. That work begins from a position of real strength: decades of historic exploration and underground development undertaken by a subsidiary of ENI. It gives Reveille the potential to define one of Europe’s most interesting uranium exploration opportunities.
Uranium is a strategic metal. In the years ahead, Western countries will need reliable and allied sources of supply. Reveille has an opportunity to determine whether Italy can play a meaningful role in that effort, and the Company should pursue it with purpose, seriousness and long-term resolve.
I am enthusiastic to join a highly driven Board with a clear focus on building an internationally relevant uranium company. I look forward to helping Reveille engage constructively with Italian stakeholders, broaden its access to US institutional capital and funding, and evaluate further opportunities to strengthen its position in this strategically important sector.”
Ippolito Ingo Cattaneo, Executive Director of Reveille, commented:
“We are deeply honoured that Secretary Pompeo has agreed to join Reveille’s Board at this pivotal stage in the Company’s evolution. From our first discussions, he immediately recognised the scale of the substantial historic investment undertaken by a subsidiary of ENI in Val Vedello and Novazza, and the significance of the turning point now taking place in Italy’s energy debate. Against this backdrop, Reveille has the opportunity, subject to the necessary approvals and further exploration work, to define one of Europe’s most prospective uranium opportunities.
For a company of Reveille’s current size, Secretary Pompeo’s decision to join the Board is a powerful endorsement of the opportunity at hand. His share purchase options align his interests directly with the creation of long-term value for all shareholders. He will also support the Company in bringing its story to North American institutional investors, where uranium companies command substantial investor interest, and in pursuing uranium exploration and development opportunities in Western-aligned jurisdictions.
Secretary Pompeo is a proud Italian-American, with deep family roots in Abruzzo, and a strong believer in Italy’s potential. His appointment brings extraordinary international experience, strategic perspective and energy-security insight to Reveille as we seek to advance Italy’s largest historical uranium deposits at arguably the most favourable time in the nation’s modern history.”

Notes to Editors
Reveille Resources plc (AQSE: REV) is a UK natural resources exploration and development company with a primary focus on Italy, where it is advancing the exploration and development of the country's largest historic uranium deposits.
Through its Italian subsidiary, Futuro Energetico Italiano S.r.l, the Company has submitted exploration-licence applications in respect of the Novazza and Val Vedello uranium projects in northern Italy, each of which is subject to the applicable environmental-assessment process. The projects were historically explored and developed by AGIP Nucleare S.p.A. and its operating subsidiary, SOMIREN, both part of the ENI group, during Italy’s national nuclear programme between 1959 and 1983. This work included more than 87,000 metres of historical drilling and approximately 17 kilometres of underground development.
Reveille's strategy is to identify and advance uranium projects that have benefited from substantial historical exploration and technical work, but where value has yet to be fully realised due to geopolitical, technological, financial or historical factors. By applying modern exploration techniques and internationally recognised reporting standards, the Company intends to verify historical data, advance exploration and work towards the delineation of mineral resources in accordance with internationally recognised reporting standards.
While Italy remains the Company's principal area of focus, Reveille will selectively evaluate additional uranium opportunities elsewhere in Europe and in other Western jurisdictions where similar value creation opportunities exist. The Company is committed to advancing its projects responsibly, working closely with local communities, regulators and other stakeholders to ensure that exploration activities are undertaken to the highest environmental, technical and governance standards.
