Update
Further to announcements about the Company’s inspections and investigations of possible new sites for copper and cobalt mining in the Congo, and in particular the update of 30th September 2026, Red Rock and its local partner have conducted a site visit to one of the short-listed properties in Katanga for copper-cobalt exploration and production. The property, which covers 12 blocks, is held under a production licence (Permis d’Exploitation) by a private party (Holder) and is in the Kambove area, a well-known mining area in the vicinity of Likasi.
Red Rock and its partner have signed a partnership agreement with the Holder whereby they would jointly produce and sell minerals from the blocks and share the profits 60% to them and 40% to the Holder after deduction of all costs.
Red Rock has been provided with exploration reports and will be provided with further reports, and has been conducting its own data review. There is no licence acquisition cost and no defined spend. Exploration and production activity will be approved by consensus of the parties in committee.
Further visits to additional prospects will occur. Other matters in DRC continue to make progress towards conclusion.
Andrew Bell, Chairman, comments: “We thank shareholders for their continuing support for the Company’s endeavours. We are glad to have an opportunity to get back into our core business of mine production with a new copper and cobalt mining licence and look forward to reporting further on this.”
