Board Changes

 

Rainbow Rare Earths (LSE:RBW) is pleased to announce  the appointment of Mrs Ashleigh Woolf to the Board as Non Executive Director with immediate effect following the resignation of Mr Darryll Castle, Non Executive Director.

Ashleigh is Chief Legal Officer for TechMet Ltd., a strategic shareholder with the right to nominate one Director to the Rainbow Board for so long as it holds at least 10% of the issued shares in the Company, and replaces Mr Castle, their previously nominated Board Member.

 

Adonis Pouroulis, Non Executive Chairman of Rainbow, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Ashleigh to the Board as we continue to advance our two world-class rare earth projects at Phalaborwa in South Africa and Uberaba in Brazil. Ashleigh Woolf is a dual-qualified Solicitor (United Kingdom and South Africa) with over 15 years of multi-jurisdictional experience in M&A, private equity, general corporate law and compliance. Previously she was Chief Legal Officer, Data Protection Officer and Member of the Executive Management Committee at Lonrho Holdings Limited with responsibility for the management of the UK HQ and all legal and compliance matters across the Lonrho group. She has held various board seats on associated subsidiaries of Lonrho across 16 jurisdictions.  Prior to this she was Legal Counsel at PruProtect (a subsidiary of Prudential and later, Discovery) and held a senior legal position as Associate Director at Salamanca, a financially regulated international private equity and risk management group.
