Resignation of Auditor

London, UK - Quantum Data Energy PLC (LSE: QDE) announces that it has received a section 519 of the Companies Act 2006 notification of the resignation of Crowe UK LLP as auditors of the Company. The resignation of the auditor was entirely unexpected by the Company, who have been working diligently with the auditor the past few months to complete the Company's audit on time, with the audit being well progressed and on track to complete by the reporting deadline of 30 April 2026.

As a result of the auditor's resignation, the Company will not be in a position to publish its audited report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2025 by 30 April 2026 as required by the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules for the publication of audited financial statements. The Company is actively working to engage a new auditor to complete the audit for the period ending 31 December 2025 and will provide updates as appropriate.
