Prudential plc executes the sale of a 2.0 per cent stake of ICICI Prudential Asset Management

 

Hong Kong, 27 August 2026 - Prudential plc ("Prudential") announces that Prudential Corporation Holdings Limited ("PCHL", a subsidiary of Prudential) has successfully executed the sale of a 2.0 per cent stake in ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited ("IPAMC") via an open market sale process (the "Sale").

 

The final realised price for the Sale was INR 3,065 per share. The resultant proceeds of the Sale are the equivalent of US$0.3 billion[1]. As mentioned in Prudential's 2026 half year results released on 27 August 2026, the net proceeds are to be returned to Prudential shareholders in the form of a share buyback.
