Notes to Editors:

ProBiotix Health is a life sciences company that develops probiotic formulations to support cardiometabolic health. Since its formation, ProBiotix has become recognised as a global leader in microbiome modulating probiotics for use in food supplements and nutraceuticals.

The Company has a unique approach; discovering ground breaking probiotics, ensuring their benefits through robust science, and bringing to market effective finished probiotic-based products for human health across the globe.

Chief Executive Officer's overview

The momentum in the business has continued in the first half of 2026, with record revenue growth and a pleasing increase in our gross margin. Moreover, our stated strategy to increase market awareness and boost market penetration, has led to a significant expansion of the customer base.

The Company has continued to expand its global footprint, with the APAC region again proving a particularly strong market. Our partnership with Kemin continues to develop, leading to increasing demand in China.

Revenue for the first six months of 2026 reached a record £2.06m, a 53% increase compared with the same period in 2025. As a result of this increased sales traction, the Group has achieved a swing to an EBITDA profit (excluding share-based payments) for the period of £151,000 (2025: £112,000 loss).

The Board and Management are pleased with the performance achieved in the first half of the year, as it provides further evidence of the success of our strategy.

Strategic Outlook

As a life sciences company with a strategic focus on probiotics and the human microbiome, there remains a significant market opportunity to continue our expansion. ProBiotix operates in the dietary supplement prevention segment, a market which is being driven by the consumer trend of healthy ageing, cardiometabolic health and probiotics.

The strategy continues to target partnerships with scientifically driven dietary supplement suppliers, consumer health and Over the Counter (OTC) companies globally. We continue to provide private label as well as turnkey probiotic dietary supplements to target preventative cardiometabolic health and healthy ageing. The patented LPLDL® continues to be our flagship probiotic strain, developed specifically to support cardiometabolic health.

Results

The Group has delivered a solid trading result during the period, with revenue increasing 53% to £2.06m (2025: £1.34m). Gross profit rose to £1.245m (2025: £748,000), which equated to an increased gross margin of 60.4% (2025: 55%).

Importantly, the Group has achieved a swing to an EBITDA profit (excluding share-based payments) for the period of £151,000 (2025: £112,000 loss). This improvement has been achieved by increased sales volumes, as well as continued operational efficiencies.

The Group ended the period with a cash and cash equivalents of £1.244m, compared to £1.3m at the prior period end. The movement in the bank balance arises from a higher net trade debtor position relative to trade creditors at the current period end compared with the prior period. This is sufficient to deliver our expansion ambitions and leaves the Group fully funded as a result.

Outlook

The active customer base has grown by more than 15% during this period which reflects the growing demand for effective science-backed preventive cardiometabolic supplement products.

We expect further growth in H2 from APAC and the EMEA regions and going into 2027 through the repositioning of a deeper US offering expanding sales to include third party distribution, and a broadened product positioning to offer LPLDL® beyond cholesterol health.

The Board and wider management team remain fully committed to delivering the growth strategy we have articulated. We would like to thank all our shareholders and wider stakeholders for their support, and view the future with confidence.
