Retirement of Executive Director
The Company wishes to announce the upcoming retirement of Gerard McIlroy as Executive Director of Mutual Energy Limited, the Company's ultimate parent company, and all its subsidiaries, including Premier Transmission Financing plc. Gerard will step down from the Board on 31 March 2026 after 20 years of service.
During his tenure Gerard played a fundamental role in driving the Mutual Energy group forward, most notably leading our efforts in the Gas to the West and Belfast Gas Transmission financing projects. The Board extends their sincere thanks and appreciation to Gerard for his very valuable contribution over many years, formerly in his role as Finance Director and latterly as Business Development Director, and wishes him well in his retirement.
Emma Jayne Armstrong, who succeeded Gerard as Finance Director, joined the Board as Executive Director on 1 July 2026, so the Board is already well-positioned for a seamless handover and continued operations.
