Polar Capital announces that, in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 16 January 2026, and extended on 17 July 2026, (the "Programme"), the Company purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 2.5p ("Ordinary Shares") each through Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch (trading for these purposes as Deutsche Numis) ("Deutsche Numis").

The repurchased shares will be cancelled by the Company.

 

This purchase completes the share buyback programme referred to above under which, a total of 2,078,825 shares were purchased in aggregate for £15m, shares were purchased at an average price of 726.4556 pence per share across the full programme.

 

Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company's issued ordinary share capital is 99,490,541. Therefore, the total voting rights in the Company will be 99,490,541. This figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
