                           PENDRAGON PLC ('Pendragon')

On 15 January 2001 Jupiter Asset Management Limited notified the Board of
Pendragon that as result of a transaction on 11 January 2001 it no longer holds
a notifiable interest in the ordinary shares of Pendragon and that any ordinary
shares of Pendragon it currently holds are held in its capacity as an investment
manager.
