Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging

Managerial Responsibility and Connected Persons

The Company was notified on 10 May 2010 that on the same day Mr Rui de Sousa, the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, sold 15,000 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each ("Shares") at a price of £16.10 per Share.

As a result of this transaction, which represents 0.02% of the issued share capital of the Company, Mr de Sousa is interested in 785,076 Shares, representing 0.95% of the issued share capital of the Company and 1,509,201 warrants to acquire Shares ("Warrants").  This interest is held as follows:  Mr de Sousa holds 63,652 Shares personally; Palamos Limited, a connected person to Mr de Sousa, holds 721,424 Shares, 55,336 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.55 per Share, 925,187 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.60 per Share and 528,678 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.65 per Share.
