Petards Group plc (AIM: PEG), 
the AIM quoted developer of advanced security, communication and surveillance systems, is pleased to provide a trading update following the end of its financial half year on 30 June 2026.

The upward trend in the Group's financial performance over recent times has continued into 2026 with better margins being achieved than those for both the corresponding period and full year in 2025, albeit on very slightly lower revenues.

The board expects to report EBITDA growth over that recorded in first half of 2025, with total net debt further reduced to £1,155,000 (31 Dec 2025: £1,339,000) and an order book at 30 June 2026 of £9.6 million (31 Dec 2025: £9.2 million).

Petards' interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026 will be announced on 11th September 2026.

Commenting on the current outlook, Raschid Abdullah, Chairman, said:

"The Group has continued to perform well in the first half of 2026, generating cash and growing gross profit margins and profitability, and saw its order book increase to £9.6 million by the period end.

"The board expects the Group to continue to perform well over the remainder of 2026 and to deliver a result for the full year ahead of current market expectations."
