Rail Orders

 

Petards, the AIM quoted developer of advanced security, communication and surveillance systems, announces that the Rail business of its subsidiary, Petards Joyce-Loebl (PJL), has received orders worth £0.7 million.

 

The orders, from a global train builder, include the provision of equipment, engineering services, and a three year SaaS contract to provide Petards eyeBoS on a further train fleet.

 

The equipment is expected to be fully delivered during the second half of 2026, with first revenues for both the engineering services and eyeBoS also being made in that period.  The engineering services are scheduled to be completed during 2027.

Commenting on the awards, Petards Chairman Raschid Abdullah said;

"We are pleased to have been awarded this business from one of our long standing customers, adding to the Group's order book for both the current and future years, and supporting the improvement in trading currently being experienced by Petards' Rail.
