Petards, the AIM quoted developer of advanced security, communication and surveillance systems, announces that its subsidiary, QRO Solutions (QRO), has been awarded two similarly valued contracts worth a combined £0.5 million.

The first, which is from a new export customer, is for the supply of QRO's ProVida in-car speed enforcement systems for use in vehicles operated by a European national police force. QRO expects to fully deliver the equipment during the first half of 2026, which will be installed in the end-user's fleet by QRO's customer.

The second, is for the supply of Harrier AI ANPR cameras to one of QRO's existing UK law enforcement customers. These cameras will form part of the latest phase of a ANPR programme being undertaken by the end-user for which QRO has previously supplied Harrier AI and other roadside ANPR equipment. The new cameras are for use at several operationally strategic highway locations across England and are scheduled to be delivered before 30 June 2026.

"From a strategic perspective, this first European export success is particularly pleasing and is a tangible sign that international markets have the potential to provide an additional source of future growth for the business."
