Half Year Trading Update
Market share gains and diversified business model drive strong H1 performance
Peel Hunt today issues a trading update for the six-month period ended 30 September 2026 ("H1 FY27").
The Group expects to report strong H1 FY27 revenues of approximately £62.5m.
Trading during the period was characterised by healthy activity levels across the Group's core businesses. The Group was encouraged by its market share in ECM and by institutional demand for equity raises during the period, and completed a number of significant advisory mandates. Unlike the prior year period, H1 FY27 was not characterised by a concentration of large M&A transactions, but by a broader and more balanced mix of M&A and ECM activity. Execution Services also performed strongly, making a significant contribution to Group revenues and demonstrating the benefits of Peel Hunt's diversified business model.
Outlook
Whilst risks remain around the timing and execution of transactions, the Group enters the second half with a solid pipeline of opportunities across a diverse range of transactions.
Peel Hunt will announce half year results for the six-month period ended 30 September 2026 on 18 November 2026.
