Optima expects to report revenue for the full year of approximately £121 million, in line with market expectations, representing 15% growth versus FY25. As previously communicated, Optima expects FY26 adjusted EBITDA to be approximately 10% ahead of previous market expectations. Reflecting completion of the acquisition of PAM shortly prior to the year ended, the Group's net debt position (excluding leases) at 31 March 2026 was £94.4 million, comprising a cash balance of £21.6 million and £116 million of debt. Net debt at the end of May has reduced following repayment of the £30 million shareholder bridging loan associated with the acquisition of PAM, using net proceeds from the underwritten Open Offer equity raise which completed on 24 April 2026.
The Group has continued to make strong progress against its strategic objectives and medium‑term targets of achieving annual revenues of £200 million and £40 million of adjusted EBITDA. In line with the Group's strategy, Optima completed the transformational acquisition of PAM in March 2026 for total cash consideration of approximately £100 million. As one of the UK and Republic of Ireland's leading occupational health and wellness service providers, PAM is highly complementary and synergistic to Optima's existing operations. The integration of PAM is proceeding to plan and is expected to deliver significant revenue synergies, alongside operational and cost efficiencies. As of 1 June 2026 £1.3 million of annualised cost synergies have already been delivered.
The acquisition of PAM followed two strategic acquisitions by Optima during the first half of the year to further accelerate long-term growth and continue to increase the Group's market share, and broaden its capabilities, both in scope and geography.
Optima expects to report its Full Year Results for the year ended 31 March 2026 in August 2026.
Jonathan Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of Optima Health, said: "Optima's performance in FY26 demonstrates the momentum we are building as we deliver against our strategic objectives. Completing the acquisition of PAM during the year has expanded our capabilities and strengthened our ability to support customers across the UK and Ireland. As we look ahead, our priorities remain clear: maintaining high quality service delivery, progressing integration activities and our transformation programme, and advancing strategic initiatives to support the next phase of growth towards our stated ambition."
