Release of Video Updates on Investor Hub

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI, OTCQB: OPTBF), a life sciences business developing products which reduce hunger and food cravings, enhance the gut microbiome, and sweet fibres as healthy sugar substitutes announces the release of a series of videos on its Investor Hub platform covering the questions most frequently raised by current and prospective shareholders.

OptiBiotix uses its interactive Investor Hub website to bring all OptiBiotix content into a single platform and allows investors to ask questions to provide context on announcements and update on progress whilst remaining compliant with market obligation disclosures.

The Company has carried out a review of questions received and commentary on bulletin boards and prepared a series of videos covering the questions most frequently asked and topics of most interest to investors.  These will be released over the next few weeks on the Investor Hub website. If successful it is envisaged this will be a regular occurrence.

The videos will address a range of topics including: progress on the commercialisation of SweetBiotix, the strength of SweetBiotix's commercial proposition compared to existing products, and the value it believes SweetBiotix brings to investors.

The videos will also discuss two private companies, ELO Life systems and Incredo Life systems, who are developing sweet products for agriculture or using silica to improve the sweetness of sugar. These are at a similar stage of development and have raised $40-$60m with valuations reported to be >$100m. These should give investors an indication to the potential value industry places on technologies in this space. The Company believes Sweetbiotix offers substantial advantages over these companies' products in not only being a low-calorie clean sweetener but also a prebiotic fibre offering potential health benefits to an industry which increasingly demands healthy alternatives.

Stephen O'Hara, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"Having reported growing sales and increasing margins against a lower cost base for its first-generation products and the growing potential of its holdings in PBX and SBTX, the Company is turning its focus to commercialising SweetBiotix®. This series of videos provides an update to investors on commonly asked questions and new market insight on competitor products which give an indication as to the potential value of SweetBiotix to the industry, and shareholders. With improved flavour profile over existing products, simplified manufacture, and structural analysis indicating a clear regulatory pathway there is growing confidence in the commercial potential of SweetBiotix in an industry needing a healthier alternative to sugar."
