Trading Update
Oberon Investments Group plc is pleased to provide the following trading update.
Highlights
For the year ended 31 March 2026, the Company expects to report:
- year-on-year revenue growth of over 25% on a like-for-like basis, rising from £9.4m last year to over £11.7m. This is Oberon's fourth consecutive year of substantial revenue growth.
- assets under administration 'AUA' of over £1.4bn as of today's date.
Performance has been strong across the Group, with all operating divisions delivering growth and trading above management expectations, whilst the Group continues to benefit from the strength and diversity of its business model, including:
· positive momentum across Wealth Management, Corporate Broking, Asset Management and Financial Planning;
· management is encouraged by the quality of new business, recurring revenue visibility, increasing AUA and continued demand for the Group's services;
· continued investment in systems, controls and governance to support the next phase of growth across the Group;
· the appointment of Barry Smead (previously COO Investment Management of J.M. Finn) as Group COO, subject to FCA approval, with Adam Herringer becoming Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer.
Following the period of recent growth, and associated discussions with the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA"), the Company has agreed with the FCA a voluntary requirement ('VREQ') in respect of its Wealth Management division. As part of the VREQ, the onboarding of new wealth management clients and Investment Managers will require permission from the FCA while a regulatory review of the Wealth Management's existing systems and controls is completed. The VREQ does not affect existing clients and does not apply to, or impact, the Group's other divisions (including Oberon Capital and Asset Management), all of which continue to operate normally. The Company has insurance cover in place in respect of any associated costs.
Financial Outlook
Looking ahead, the Board expects continued strong growth through 2026 and beyond, with the Group targeting revenue growth in excess of 20% in the next financial year to more than £14m, supported by organic growth across all divisions and increasing operational leverage across the platform.
It is anticipated that the Group will reach breakeven on a monthly basis before the end of this current financial year, driven not only by ever increasing revenues, but through the benefits of cost efficiencies, restructuring and operational gearing instituted at the end of the last financial year.
During Q2, the Company also intends to engage a third party analyst to author formal equity research coverage, including forecasts, to enhance market visibility, liquidity and investor understanding of Oberon's strategy and growth trajectory.
The Board remains confident in the Group's outlook and believes Oberon is well positioned to deliver continued sustained growth and to create shareholder value.
Further updates will be provided as appropriate.
