The following is the text of a letter received by the Company from Brewin
Dolphin Securities on 30 July 2003.
'I write to inform you in accordance with The Act, that following a purchase of
150,000 shares on 28th July 2003, our client, Mr David John Gladman, Crossfields
Farm, Crossfields Lane, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 3BL, now holds a total of
2,432,500 Northacre Ord Shares. This represents 10.7094% of the issued share
capital.
These Shares are held in the registered name of Brewin Nominees Limited and we
are not aware of any other shares that the client may hold in this company.'
