Summary by AI BETAClose X

Norcros plc reported a solid first quarter with revenue up 3.1% on a constant currency like-for-like basis for the 13 weeks ending July 5, 2026, driven by market share gains and price increases that offset softer underlying demand. AGM Trading Statement

Norcros plc ("Norcros" or the "Group"), the number one branded bathroom products business in the UK and Ireland, issues the following trading update covering the 13-week trading period to 5 July 2026, ahead of its Annual General Meeting which takes place at 11.00am today.

Trading Update

The Group's trading performance for the first quarter of our financial year continued to be solid, with the Board's expectations for the full year unchanged.

Group revenue for the 13-week period was +3.1% ahead of the prior year on a constant currency like for like basis*. We continued to drive growth with market share gains and price increases across both regions, more than offsetting softness in underlying market demand. Revenue on a reported basis was 27.9% higher than the same period last year, reflecting the contribution of Fibo since the acquisition in October 2025.

Thomas Willcocks, Chief Executive Officer, said:

"The Group has made a solid start to the year, with performance in line with our expectations despite continuing challenges across our end markets. Given our strong financial position, proven business model, and clear strategic focus, we remain confident in our ability to deliver further progress towards our medium-term ambitions."

* Adjusted for Johnson Tiles SA and the acquisition of Fibo
