Mass production purchase order for Pro-AV integrated display solution featuring Tactila® technology
Customer win supports OneNexteq strategy to 'move beyond the display' hardware into higher-value system solutions
Nexteq (AIM: NXQ), a leading technology solutions provider to customers in selected industrial markets, is pleased to announce that Densitron, the Group's display and human machine interface technology brand, has received a mass production purchase order for a Pro-AV integrated display solution featuring its Tactila® technology. The solution combines display, human machine interface and tactile control capabilities to support a next-generation professional audio-visual product, in a new target market vertical.
Tactila® brings tactile precision to modern touch systems, enabling rotary controls, buttons, haptic feedback and tactile faders to be incorporated into clean, sealed and intuitive interfaces. The order, received from a new customer in the professional audio-visual market, will be used within a next-generation connected control product for professional installation environments. The contract is expected to commence in H2 2026 and the number of units ordered will increase incrementally over a period of four years.
This customer win reflects Densitron's strategic focus on higher-value solutions, combining display technology, tactile control, industrial design and supply chain expertise to deliver differentiated products for selected industrial markets. It also offers Densitron's customers a real point of difference through innovative technology, in line with the Group's strategy.
The initial purchase order marks a significant step for Densitron's integrated HMI solutions portfolio, demonstrating how Tactila® can be embedded within broader system designs from product concept and interface design through to approved commercial production. The Group continues to see encouraging customer engagement for Tactila® across professional, industrial and mission-critical applications, with several leading broadcast and professional audio-visual customers moving to mass production this year as planned.
Duncan Faithfull, Chief Executive Officer of Nexteq plc, commented:
"We are delighted to receive this mass production purchase order for a Pro-AV integrated display solution featuring Tactila®, which is an important commercial validation of the investment we have made in this technology portfolio.
The order demonstrates our strategy in action: moving beyond display hardware alone to deliver complete, differentiated system solutions that improve usability and product identity for customers' next-generation devices.
The Board believes this customer relationship has the potential to support further revenue opportunities over time, as the customer progresses its product roadmap and as Densitron continues to build momentum for Tactila® in target markets."
