Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director
Former UK Government Chief Digital Officer joins Netcall's Board
Netcall plc (AIM: NET), an enterprise software company that unites automation and customer engagement in one AI-powered platform, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael ("Mike") Potter to the board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 6 November 2026.
Mike is an experienced digital and technology leader, having previously served as UK Government Chief Digital Officer and Chief Digital and Information Officer at HM Revenue & Customs. He has also held senior roles across the public and private sectors, including at NHS Blood and Transport, the Rural Payments Agency and Thames Water.
Mike has extensive experience of transforming large-scale public services through digital technology, data and AI to improve customer experience, service quality and operational efficiency. He also has a strong understanding of how UK public services are evolving, including the relationship between central, regional and local government.
Henrik Bang, Non-Executive Chair, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Mike to the Board. His career across government and industry gives him first-hand experience of leading digital change across complex public services.
"Netcall has established strong positions in local government and healthcare, with one half of UK councils and two-thirds of NHS Acute Trusts using our solutions. We also support customers across universities, policing, central government and other public bodies.
"There is a significant opportunity to build on this position, both by helping existing customers do more with Netcall and by extending our reach across the wider public sector. Mike understands what it takes to turn digital ambition into better public services. His experience will bring valuable perspective and independent challenge to the Board as we pursue that opportunity.
"Mike's appointment continues the planned evolution of the Board, adding complementary skills and experience to support Netcall's next phase of growth. We look forward to working with Mike."
Mike Potter commented: "I care deeply about the role technology can play in improving the public services people rely on and making life easier for the staff who deliver them. I was attracted to Netcall by its focus on helping organisations deliver better services, the importance of the work its customers do and the opportunity to make a practical difference.
"I am delighted to be joining the Board and look forward to bringing my experience to the role."
