Result of General Meeting

The Board of The Monks Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce that, at the General Meeting of the Company held today, the special resolution relating to the proposed renewal of the Company's authority to buy back Shares was duly passed by Shareholders.

Details of the number of votes cast for, against and withheld in respect of the Resolution, which was held on a poll, is set out below and will also be published on the Company's website at www.bailliegifford.com/en/uk/individual-investors/funds/monks-investment-trust.

(1) The number of Shares in issue as at the voting record time of 6.00 p.m. on 19 June 2026 (the "Voting Record Time") was 253,171,460. The Company holds 98,500,930 Shares in treasury. Therefore, the total voting rights in the Company as at the Voting Record Time were 154,670,530 votes (representing 154,670,530 Shares, carrying one vote per Share held).

 

(2) A "vote withheld" is not a vote in law and has not been counted as a vote "for" or "against" the Resolution.
