Mercia Asset Management PLC (AIM: MERC), the proactive, regionally focused private capital asset manager with over £2.2billion of assets under management, announces that it has made the following purchases of Ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on the London Stock Exchange, pursuant to the Share Buyback Programme announced on 1 April 2026, for the period from 17 September 2026 to 23 September 2026 (the "Period").

The Company intends to cancel the shares.

 

The Company also announces that on 23 September 2026, the Company transferred 51,209 Ordinary Shares from Treasury to satisfy the exercise of employee share options.

 

Following the purchase and the transfer from Treasury, the number of Ordinary Shares in issue and admitted to trading on AIM will be 420,294,454 (excluding treasury shares), and the Company is holding 11,236,903 Ordinary Shares in treasury.

 

This figure of 420,294,454 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
