McBride plc (the "Company") announces today it has purchased for cancellation the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") through Peel Hunt LLP plc (the "Broker") on the London Stock Exchange.

The Company intends to cancel the purchased Ordinary Shares.

Such share purchases form part of the Company's existing buyback programme and were effected pursuant to the non-discretionary agreement entered into with the Broker, as announced on 1 May 2026.

Following the cancellation of the repurchased Ordinary Shares, the Company will have 173,731,584 Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares), hold 42,041 Ordinary Shares in treasury, and have 594,610,458 non-cumulative redeemable preference shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company ("B Shares") in issue. B Shares carry no rights to attend, speak or vote at Company meetings, except on a resolution relating to the winding up of the Company.

Once the Ordinary Shares are cancelled, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 173,731,584. This figure may be used by shareholders of the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in the Company pursuant to the Disclosure and Transparency Rules (the "DTRs").

The Company confirms that, in accordance with DTR 5.5.1R, following the cancellation of the repurchased Ordinary Shares the percentage of voting rights attributable to the Ordinary Shares held in treasury will be 0.02 per cent.
