Appointment of Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Malvern International plc (AIM: MLVN), the global learning and skills development partner, is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Chaffer as an executive director and CFO Designate with  effect from 22 June 2026.

Daniel will work closely with the outgoing CFO, Dan Fisher, over the next few months ensuring a smooth and efficient handover. He will assume the role of CFO during the transition period prior to the departure of Dan Fisher in September 2026.

Daniel Chaffer is an experienced CFO and strategic finance leader with over 25 years' experience across professional services, technology, music and the pharmaceutical industries. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Most recently, Daniel served as CFO of Sentric Music Group, a technology-driven music publishing business with £66m revenue, where he led the business through significant organic growth and post-acquisition financial integration. Prior to this he served as CFO of Bioscript Group, a PE-backed medical communications consultancy, overseeing a period of rapid growth from £8m to £28m revenue over a 4-year period, and the successful sale of the business to private equity. Earlier in his career Daniel spent nearly eight years at the BBC as a Finance Business Partner supporting high-profile production and commissioning departments.

Daniel Chaffer, aged 48, currently holds no other directorships, and holds no ordinary shares or options in the Company.
