APPOINTMENT OF CEO
Luceco plc ("Luceco" or the "Group"), the leading designer and manufacturer of residential and commercial electrification products and systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Thorsten Müller as its Chief Executive Officer, with effect from 1 September 2026.
Thorsten has extensive experience leading global industrial technology businesses. Most recently, he was Divisional Chief Executive in the Safety Sector at Halma plc. Prior to joining Halma in 2022, he held senior leadership roles at ABB, Osram and Bosch.

Thorsten will assume the role of CEO and join the Board as an Executive Director with effect from 1 September 2026, at which point, John Hornby will step down as CEO and from the Board. John will remain available to the Group in an advisory capacity.
As announced on 28 July 2026, Luceco delivered strong results in H1 2026 with continuing positive trading momentum driven by Energy Transition. The Board remains confident in achieving adjusted operating profit of more than £40m in FY26.

Remuneration
The remuneration arrangements for Dr Thorsten Müller will be in accordance with the Directors' Remuneration Policy approved by shareholders at the 2026 AGM. Full details of his remuneration arrangements will be disclosed in the Directors' Remuneration Report for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.
There are no further matters in relation to Dr Thorsten Müller's appointment to be disclosed pursuant to the requirements of UKLR 6.4.8 (1) to (6) of the UK Listing Rules.
