Appointment of Non-Executive Director

LPA Group plc, the innovation-led engineering company that designs and manufactures electronic and electromechanical components and systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Nils von Essen as Non-Executive Director, who will join the Board with effect from 13 August 2026.

Nils von Essen holds a Master of Science in Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lund University. He has held several senior positions within industrial B2B businesses, including a Director of Product Management at Piab Group and various commercial roles at Stora Enso. He currently serves as Director Business Development at Peter Gyllenhammar AB (“PGAB”).

Nils joins LPA as a Board representative of Company shareholder PGAB. The appointment of Nils to the Board of LPA is a related party transaction with PGAB under the AIM Rules for Companies (the “Transaction”). This appointment, pursuant to a Letter of Appointment, is for an initial period of three years with the fee being payable to PGAB of £30,000 per annum, and Nils will be required to be re-appointed by shareholders at the Company’s Annual General Meeting held in 2027. The directors of the Company consider, having consulted with the Company's nominated adviser, Cavendish Capital Markets Limited, that the terms of the Transaction are fair and reasonable insofar as its shareholders are concerned.
