Appointment of New Non-Executive Director

 

Lowland Investment Company plc is pleased to announce that following a thorough search and selection process, Ms Cindy Rampersaud will be appointed as a non-executive director to the Board with effect from 1 October 2026. She will also serve as a member of the Company's Audit and Risk, Nominations and Remuneration, Management Engagement and Insider Committees. As part of the Board's succession planning, it is expected that she will take over from Gaynor Coley as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee on the latter's retirement from the Board.

 

Ms Rampersaud is a qualified accountant and an accomplished Non-Executive Director and Audit and Risk Chair with a track record across FTSE companies, private-equity backed firms and government agencies. She is currently a non-executive director of JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc and previously acted as Senior Independent Director and Audit & Risk Committee Chair at Hipgnosis Songs Fund. Other current non-executive roles include the UK Health Security Agency and Sage Homes while her previous executive roles included finance and management positions across a range of sectors including at Pearson, Capita, EMI and Capital City College Group.
