Appointment of Patrick Johnston to Board
Kooth (AIM: KOO), a leading provider of digital mental health services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Patrick Johnston, Chief Operating Officer as an Executive Director with immediate effect.
Since 2021, Patrick has led Kooth's Service Delivery function, managing frontline practitioners and leading the scaling of Soluna across California and the UK. Patrick became COO in January 2025 overseeing global operations, including People, IT, and Business Intelligence. He has also been instrumental in building and managing relationships with some of Kooth’s most senior and high-profile stakeholders.
Patrick has considerable experience across digital and traditional mental health. Prior to Kooth, he was responsible for operations and learning at Place2Be, the UK children’s mental health charity. He holds a PhD in Psychological Medicine and Psychiatry from King’s College London and is based in the US.
Following this appointment, the Board comprises eight Directors, of whom five are independent Non-Executive Directors.
