The Company announces that it has changed its name to JPMorgan Emerging Markets Dividend Income plc, with effect from 15 January 2026.

The Board believes that the new name more clearly reflects the Company's longstanding focus on delivering dividend income together with the potential for long-term capital growth from a diversified portfolio of emerging markets investments and its commitment to providing regular and attractive dividends to shareholders.

There are no changes to the Company's investment objective, policy or approach. The Company's London Stock Exchange TIDM (Tradable Instrument Display Mnemonic) remains JEMI. The Company's ISIN, SEDOL and LEI also remain unchanged. The Company is liaising with the FCA and the LSE to effect the name change on the Official List and for trading purposes as soon as practicable.

Shareholders should note that their shareholdings will be unaffected by the change of name. Existing share certificates should be retained as they will remain valid for all purposes and no replacement share certificates will be issued in connection with the change of name.
