Russian Court Cases - Update

 

Further to the Board's previous RNS announcements regarding the lawsuits filed by VTB Bank in Russia claiming $439.5m, $81.3 million, $74.5 million and €108 million and the lawsuit filed by Sberbank in Russia claiming $830,183 against eight J.P. Morgan legal entities and the Company, the Board announces the following updates from JPMorgan Funds Limited (the Company's Manager) (in italics):

 

 

"VTB Bank claim ($439.5 million):        Appeal filed to a higher court, the Court of Cassation, which is now due to be heard on 19th January 2026.  

 

VTB Bank claim ($81.3 million):            The case is under a court suspension ruling.

 

VTB Bank claim ($74.5 million):            The case is under a court suspension ruling.

 

VTB Bank claim (€108 million):             The case is under a court suspension ruling.

 

Sberbank claim ($830,183):                    Hearing date now 28th January 2026."
