The Board of JPMorgan American Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointments of Clare Brady and Kevin Troup as Non-Executive Directors of the Company with effect from 15 May 2026.

Clare has over 35 years' experience in banking and financial services. She is currently the non-executive Chairman of Fidelity Asian Values plc and a non-executive director of CT Healthcare Trust PLC and of M&G Group Limited. Previously, Clare was a non-executive director of Credit Suisse, and in her executive career, she held senior positions at a number of institutions including the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Bank of England, Barclays Capital, HSBC and Deutsche Bank.

Clare Brady and Persons Closely Associated to her, do not own any shares in the Company.

Kevin Troup, a qualified Chartered Accountant, has over 30 years' experience in the investment industry, including a number of lead investment manager roles until retiring in 2018. He is currently a non-executive director of Baillie Gifford Shin Nippon PLC and of Baring Fund Managers Limited, and a director of Kintail Trustees Limited, the corporate trustee of The Robertson Trust charity where he is Chair of the Investment Committee. Kevin's previous non-executive director roles include European Assets Trust plc, TPI Fund Managers, a subsidiary of Tesco Pension Investment Ltd, and  BT Pension Scheme Management Limited (trading as Brightwell), the manager of the BT Pension Scheme.

Kevin Troup and Persons Closely Associated to him, do not own any shares in the Company.

No further information is to be disclosed pursuant to paragraphs 6.4.8 R (2) to 6.4.8 R (6) of the UK Listing Rules in respect of Clare Brady or Kevin Troup.
