Trading update

 

Journeo plc (AIM: JNEO), a leading provider of intelligent systems for transport networks and critical national infrastructure, announces a trading update for the six months ended 30 June 2026 ("H1 2026"), and current outlook confirming trading in line with expectations.

 

Financial Highlights

·    Group revenues increased by 53% to £37.6m (H1 2025: £24.5m)

·    Adjusted profit before tax increased by 10% to £3.0m (H1 2025: £2.8m)

·    Cash balance decreased to £12.6m (H1 2025: £18.0m)

·    Sales opportunity pipeline increased substantially to £200m (H1 2025: £80m)

·    Sales order intake increased by 3% to £31m (H1 2025: £30m) providing increased visibility into H2 2026 and beyond

 

Journeo had a strong H1 2025 with total Group revenue increasing by 53% to £37.6m (H1 2025: £24.5m). Adjusted Profit before tax increased by 10% to £3.0m (H1 2025: £2.8m).

Cash balance at 30 June 2026 was £12.6m (H1 2025: £18.0m), following payment of £10.7m cash consideration for the acquisition of Crime and Fire Defence Systems in September 2025. The Company's invoice discounting facility of £2.75m was unutilised during the period.

Outlook

Revenue for the full year is expected to be marginally ahead of current market expectations, with adjusted profit before tax remaining in line with market expectations. *
