Johnson Matthey announces updates to the expected timetable for the effectiveness of the share consolidation for ADSs


On 27 July 2026, Johnson Matthey Plc ("JM") announced publication of a circular and notice of general meeting (the "Circular") relating to JM's proposed special dividend ("Special Dividend") and associated share consolidation ("Share Consolidation"). The 27 July announcement and the Circular each included an expected timetable for the general meeting, the Special Dividend and the Share Consolidation, including the marking of American Depositary Shares ("ADSs") as "ex-Special Dividend" and the effectiveness of the Share Consolidation for ADSs.

JM notes the recent publication by the US Financial Industry Regulatory Authority of an updated timetable for the marking of ADSs as "ex-Special Dividend" and the effectiveness of the Share Consolidation for ADSs. Accordingly, the updated expected timetable of events is set out below.
