Appointment of Joachim Rosenberg as a Non-Executive Director

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Joachim Rosenberg as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from the conclusion of today's Annual General Meeting. Joachim will also serve a member of the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

Joachim joins the Company with substantial international automotive experience and a strong strategic background. He spent twenty years with the Volvo Group, holding executive leadership roles across Europe and Asia, and brings experience in global sales and services, commercial leadership, business transformation and operations in complex international markets. Upon his appointment as President of Volvo Energy in 2021, Joachim was additionally responsible for Group-wide strategy, M&A and governance. Prior to joining the Volvo Group, Joachim spent almost a decade with McKinsey & Company. He has extensive international experience, having lived for fifteen years in China and Japan and a further two years in the United States. Joachim also holds NED experience from tier-1 automotive suppliers and from companies in the aluminium industry.

Joachim's current NED appointments include a position within the Concentric group, a flow control, fluid power and thermal management supplier formerly listed on Nasdaq Stockholm (delisted in 2024). He also holds, and has held, positions on the boards of several private companies.

In accordance with obligations under UKLR 6.4.8R, Joachim currently holds, or has held, the following directorships:
