Jersey Electricity plc - Directorate Change - Appointment of Chair

Jersey Electricity plc ("the Company") announces that the Board has approved the appointment of Mr Paul Savery as Chair of the Board, with effect from 11 March 2027.

Mr Savery joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director on 01 December 2025. As part of the Board's planned succession arrangements, he became a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Nominations Committee with effect from 04 March 2026, enabling a period of transition and familiarisation ahead of assuming the role of Chair.

The Board considers that Mr Savery's appointment will support continuity in Board leadership and the continued effective governance of the Company.

Mr Phil Austin, MBE, Chair of Jersey Electricity plc, said:

"The Board is pleased to confirm Paul's appointment as Chair with effect from 11 March 2027. Since joining the Board, Paul has contributed positively to its work and to the Company's governance arrangements. His appointment reflects the Board's commitment to orderly succession planning and continuity of leadership."

 

Mr Savery will succeed Mr Austin, who will step down as Chair with effect from the same date.
