Appointment of Non-executive Directors

 

 

IQE plc (AIM:  IQE, "IQE" or the "Group"), the leading supplier of compound semiconductor wafer products and advanced material solutions to the global semiconductor industry, is pleased to announce the appointments of Robert Dennehy and David O'Carroll as Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect. Messrs. Dennehy and O'Carroll are appointed as MACOM Technology Solutions Inc.'s ("MACOM") representative directors under the Board Appointment Agreement between MACOM and IQE as previously announced on 28 May 2026.

 

Robert Dennehy has over 30 years of experience at MACOM, spanning product management, operations leadership and general management across the U.S. and Europe.  He has served as MACOM's Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since November 2025, having previously held the roles of Senior Vice President, Operations, Vice President, Operations and Managing Director of MACOM's Cork, Ireland subsidiary.  Mr. Dennehy holds an Associate's degree in Electronic Engineering and a Diploma in Business Administration from Henley Business School, London. 

 

David O'Carroll has over 10 years of experience at MACOM, with particular expertise in international operations, finance, and government relations across Europe and Asia.  He has served as MACOM's Vice President since October 2023, managing facilities in France, Japan and Ireland and overseeing MACOM's Asian operations.  Mr. O'Carroll previously held the roles of Senior Director of Global Accounting Operations and International Finance Director.  He is the President of the MACOM group's French subsidiary. He is also a director on the board of several international subsidiaries within the MACOM group.
