Board Changes

INSPECS Group plc, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of eyewear (sunglasses, optical frames and low vision products), announces that Shaun Smith is today stepping down as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.

The Board would like to thank Shaun for his significant contribution to the Company. Since joining the Board in 2022 he has served on both the Audit and Risk and Remuneration and Nomination Committees. As a member of the Transaction Committee, Shaun also helped the Company to navigate the series of unsolicited approaches it received in 2025, culminating in the recommended offer from Bidco 1125 Limited which closed earlier this year.

Robin Totterman, Executive Chair of INSPECS Group plc, commented:

"Shaun has been a real asset to INSPECS, and I want to thank him for the commitment and care he brought to the Board. He joined us during a demanding period, and his professionalism and steady judgement helped guide the Company through some genuinely challenging moments.

"His financial expertise and transaction experience proved especially valuable over the past year as we worked through the approaches the Company received - we were fortunate to have him at the table.

"On behalf of the Board and everyone at INSPECS, I wish Shaun every success in his next chapter."
