Board Changes

INSPECS Group plc, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of eyewear (sunglasses, optical frames, lenses and low vision products), announces that Christopher Hancock, Interim Non-Executive Chair, has informed the Board of his intention to step down as a Non-Executive Director and not stand for re-election at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held in June 2026.

The Board would like to thank Chris for his valuable contribution to the Company during his involvement which began with his assistance in the acquisition of Killine in 2016.  Since the Company's IPO in 2020, he has served as Chair of both the Audit and Risk Committee and of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee, and as a member of the ESG Committee.  In June 2025, he became Interim Chair and, as part of the Transaction Committee, helped navigate the Company through the series of unsolicited approaches it received, culminating in the recommended offer from Bidco 1125 Limited which closed on 15 May, 2026.

The Company further announces that Robin Totterman will resume the position of Executive Chair immediately following the AGM.

Robin Totterman, Founder of INSPECS Group plc, commented:

"I would like to thank Chris for his commitment and valuable contribution to INSPECS over many years. His insight and experience have been instrumental during several important phases in the Company's development, particularly during what has been a very challenging period for the Group and all those involved.

"The events of the past year have unfolded somewhat like a rollercoaster, and I greatly appreciate the time, effort and dedication Chris has shown throughout.

"As Chris steps down, I now look forward to refocusing on our core business and ensuring that the Group continues to develop and make a meaningful impact on the world stage. I wish Chris all the very best in his future endeavours."
