               Notification of Substantial Interest in Shares

The Informa Group plc (the "Company") received notification on 5 November 2002 
from Lazard Freres & Co. LLC, doing business as Lazard Asset Management and its 
subsidiaries, advising that as of 22 October 2002 it has disposed of its 
interests in a certain number of ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of 
the Company. As a result thereof, Lazard Freres & Co. LLC, doing business as 
Lazard Asset Management and its subsidiaries, no longer holds a notifiable 
interest in the shares of the Company.
