Q3 2026 Shareholder Update: strengthening pipeline of prominent US institutions
IB Vista™ platform brand introduced and new applications under way for IB Nimble
Imaging Biometrics Limited (LSE: IBAI) updates shareholders on the quarter to 30 September 2026, in which its operating subsidiary, Imaging Biometrics LLC ("IB"), strengthened its commercial pipeline and entered active discussions with a number of prominent US academic medical centres and health systems. IB develops FDA-cleared, CE and UKCA marked quantitative imaging software, specialising in brain tumour care.
Highlights
• Stronger pipeline: IB is in active discussions with prominent US academic medical centres and health systems, including nationally recognised leaders in neurology, neurosurgery and cancer care.
• New subscriptions: two annual IB Clinic® subscriptions were announced this quarter, adding to IB's long-established base of subscription customers.
• IB Vista™: IB's proven processing platform, known internally as "Dolphin", now has a market name. It is the primary platform for deploying IB's products.
• IB Nimble: IB is exploring new applications, including AI, for its secure mobile platform for clinical care teams.
• GaM Expanded Access Program: open for enrolment
• Kirkstall: US traction, with a trial system delivered to a large US pharmaceutical company and a further biotechnology opportunity in progress.
Commercial pipeline
IB's pipeline strengthened during the quarter, reflecting the demand IB anticipated following its renewed focus on its core imaging business. IB is in active discussions with prominent US academic medical centres and health systems, including nationally recognised leaders in neurology, neurosurgery and cancer care, and is discussing expanded deployments with existing customers. These institutions remain confidential at this stage. There is no certainty that any discussion will lead to a contract, and further announcements will be made as appropriate.
The two annual IB Clinic subscriptions announced this quarter, with a leading academic medical centre on 28 August and a leading health system on 15 September, add to a subscription customer base that IB has built over many years and further strengthen IB's commercial foundation.
IB Vista™: the platform behind IB's products
IB Vista is the new market name for the processing platform IB has developed and deployed for several years under the codename "Dolphin". Already handling high-volume work at leading academic and clinical institutions, it is the engine that runs the clinically validated algorithms contained in IB Clinic®: it takes images from the scanner, runs the analyses, and delivers the results into the hospital's reporting systems. It incorporates all IB Clinic modules, including QSMetric, is seamlessly deployed within existing hospital IT environments, and is configured to each customer's requirements.
Because every IB Clinic module runs on the same platform, customers can add modules to their existing installation, and the same calibrated processing is applied at every site and across enterprise-wide networks. IB Vista is platform-independent and can host both IB modules and third-party applications and AI models within a single environment. IB's legacy workflow engine, OsiriX-based IB Rad Tech, remains available and continues to be used by existing customers.
IB Nimble
IB Nimble is a secure, real-time mobile platform, developed with clinicians, that brings specialist care teams, patient information, and imaging together in a single, secure environment. IB is exploring new applications that go beyond this original purpose. In particular, it is looking at combining Nimble's secure collaborative environment with an AI model that could streamline and enable clinical decision-making. As healthcare organizations increasingly adopt AI and seek more timely access to multidisciplinary expertise, IB believes platforms that securely connect clinicians, patient data and analytics will play an increasingly important role in efficiency and patient care.
Auto-segmentation and longitudinal reporting
IB continues to advance automated tumour segmentation and longitudinal reporting, capabilities that customers have been requesting. The Board expects this development work to complete during 2026, with roll-out to customers expected to commence in 2027, primarily through IB Vista. IB anticipates that these additions will strengthen the value of its subscription offerings, support further subscription growth, and contribute to revenue as adoption increases.
GaM Expanded Access Program
Through its Expanded Access Program for oral gallium maltolate ("GaM") in adult recurrent glioblastoma, IB is giving eligible patients access to treatment while building a dataset of clinical, imaging and outcome data that may support future development and regulatory discussions. IB is actively enrolling patients in the programme.
Kirkstall
Kirkstall Limited, the Group's organ-on-a-chip subsidiary, has seen encouraging progress in the US life sciences market during the quarter. Its US distributor recently delivered a small trial system to a large US-based pharmaceutical company and is progressing a further opportunity with a large US-based biotechnology company. The Board regards this as evidence of increasing traction for Kirkstall's Quasi Vivo® platform among major US life sciences customers.
Outlook
The Board's priorities are to convert the pipeline into annual subscriptions, deployed through IB Vista, and to continue developing IB Nimble both as a secure mobile collaboration platform and through new applications. At Kirkstall, the focus is on building on US traction for the Quasi Vivo® platform. The Company will update shareholders as these develop.
Trevor Brown, Chief Executive Officer of IBAI, commented:
"The two new subscriptions this quarter add to a customer base built over many years - a proven and growing foundation. IB is in discussions with some of the most respected institutions in US neurology and cancer care, IB Vista gives us a single, proven platform to deploy on, and our job is to convert that pipeline into recurring business."
