IMAGING BIOMETRICS LIMITED
("IBAI" or the "Company")
(LSE: IBAI)
AGM Statement and Business Update
3 June 2026
Imaging Biometrics Limited (LSE: IBAI) is pleased to provide this update to shareholders ahead of its Annual General Meeting being held today. The Group develops quantitative neuroimaging software and organ-on-a-chip technology for healthcare and life sciences.
The Company today announces the release of IB Nimble™ 2, a substantially upgraded version of its secure mobile and web-based platform for multidisciplinary clinical collaboration. It is available on web, iOS, and Android. It is designed to support tumour board discussions, complex disease management workflows, and emergent care settings.
The release incorporates material enhancements developed in direct response to feedback from existing clinical users. In-app DICOM (medical image format) viewing allows care teams to review imaging within the platform without switching between systems. PACS (picture archiving and communication system) synchronisation makes imaging data accessible in clinical context without local installation. The release also adds customisable roles and permissions, synchronised cross-platform experience, and reinforced cybersecurity architecture.
IB Nimble™ 2 is available immediately to both existing and prospective customers. The Board expects the release to broaden the platform's addressability to institutions not previously able to justify adoption without integrated imaging capability.
IB Nimble™ 2 forms part of the Company's broader strategy to sharpen its focus on its neuroimaging software portfolio, prioritising high-quality, commercially sustainable products, as outlined in the strategic review published in February 2026.
"The ability to sync with PACS and view DICOM images within IB Nimble™ 2 fundamentally changes how clinicians and researchers collaborate. Users can now review imaging data in context, alongside colleagues, in real time - without switching between systems. That is a meaningful improvement in both efficiency and clinical decision-making."
- Dr Joseph Bovi MD, Physician Chief, ThedaCare Cancer Service Line
"IB Nimble™ 2 is the direct product of listening to the clinicians who use our platform every day. Integrated image viewing within a mobile collaboration tool removes a genuine friction point in tumour board workflows. We are pleased to deliver this to our user base and to make it available to new institutions as we continue to build on the commercial momentum established in 2025."
- Trevor Brown, Chief Executive, Imaging Biometrics Limited
In December 2025, the Company's distribution relationship with GE HealthCare was expanded. The expanded agreement now covers QSMetric™ and FTB Express Maps alongside the existing IB Neuro® and IB Delta T1™ products. This gives IBAI's software access to GE's installed base of MRI systems worldwide.
QSMetric™ is a patented, FDA-cleared quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) solution developed and validated at Weill Cornell Medicine. QSMetric™ detects and measures susceptibility-based biomarkers-particularly iron and microhemorrhages-supporting diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment planning across a range of neurological conditions including amyloid-related imaging abnormalities - hemorrhagic (ARIA-H) in patients receiving anti-amyloid Alzheimer's therapies. FDA-mandated ARIA monitoring is a protocol requirement for these treatments.
IBAI contributes its certified Quality Management System, regulatory expertise, and global support infrastructure. Integration of QSMetric™ into GE's distribution ecosystem is progressing, and the Board views this as an incremental revenue opportunity for the Group.
Kirkstall, acquired in October 2025, delivered year-on-year revenue growth in 2025 and has a distributor network spanning the United States, China, and South Korea. New distribution partners have been added in recent months, further expanding commercial reach.
The Quasi-Vivo® organ-on-a-chip platform is in active use in pharmaceutical research, toxicology, and disease modelling. A BBSRC/NC3Rs-funded collaboration with Nottingham Trent University is developing a glioblastoma tumour-on-a-chip model. This opens a route into pharmaceutical drug discovery, a segment with larger and recurring order volumes.
Kirkstall is transitioning from a university-centric business toward a commercially scalable operation. The platform is well positioned to benefit from the global regulatory shift away from animal testing, including the US FDA Modernization Act 2.0 and equivalent mandates in the UK, EU, China and South Korea.
Following the successful completion of the Phase 1 clinical trial of oral gallium maltolate (GaM) in November 2025, preparation of the study results for journal submission is continuing. The Board expects submission in 2026 and will update shareholders once it has been made. The Group retains contractual rights to the Phase 1 data for regulatory and commercialisation purposes.
"Imaging Biometrics enters this AGM with commercial momentum that is genuine and measurable. Our neuroimaging software is now distributed by global partners. Our mobile collaboration platform has been substantially upgraded. Our organ-on-a-chip business is generating early commercial traction. With IB Nimble™ 2 launched and the enhanced IB Clinic platform nearing release, new Kirkstall distribution partners in place, and global distribution relationships expanded, the Board is confident the Group is entering a period of revenue acceleration. Our expectation of progress towards profitability in 2026 is unchanged."
