Ibstock Plc ('Ibstock' or the 'Company'), a leading UK manufacturer of building products and solutions, announces that Louis Eperjesi, Senior Independent Director, has informed the Board that he intends to step down as a Non-Executive Director on 31 December 2026 and take up a role as a Non-Executive Director, with Breedon Group Plc in early 2027.

Louis joined Ibstock on 1 June 2018 and, since that time, has served as a member of the Audit, Remuneration, Nomination and Sustainability Committees. He was appointed Senior Independent Director on 27 April 2023.

He is being succeeded as Senior Independent Director by Nicola Bruce, who joined the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 29 March 2023, with immediate effect. Nicola will remain as the Chair of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees.

The Board has initiated a process, led by the Nomination Committee, to identify and appoint an additional Independent Non-Executive Director, and a further announcement will be made in due course.

Commenting on Louis' departure, Richard Akers, Chair of the Board, said, "On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company, I would like to thank Louis for the invaluable contribution he has made to the Board for the last eight years, in particular as Senior Independent Director. We are sincerely grateful for his service and wish Louis all the very best for the future."
