Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Angela Hildreth appointed CFO, bringing listed healthcare experience to support growth

London, UK – 12 October 2026, hVIVO plc (AIM: HVO), a purpose-built, full-service international clinical development partner and the world leader in human challenge trials, today announces the appointment of Angela Hildreth as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Board Director, with effect from 18 November 2026.

Angela will succeed Richard Cotton, who has served as Interim CFO since October 2026 following Stephen Pinkerton's retirement. Richard will remain in the role until Angela takes up her appointment on 18 November, and after a suitable handover, he will resume his role as Non-Executive Director. As CFO, Angela will lead the Group's finance function and support the continued execution of the Company’s strategy, with a focus on disciplined growth and long-term value creation.

Angela brings over 15 years of strategic and operational financial experience in publicly listed healthcare businesses. She joins hVIVO from Futura Medical plc (AIM: FUM), where she has served as Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer since 2018. She helped guide Futura’s transition from an R&D organisation to international commercialisation, spanning European and US regulatory authorisations, major commercial partnerships and product launches across multiple markets. Angela will continue to serve as a Non-Executive Director of Futura Medical plc for a limited period following the transition of her executive responsibilities.

Prior to Futura Medical, Angela spent seven years as UK Finance Director at Shield Therapeutics plc (AIM: STX), joining the business in 2011 as Financial Controller and becoming UK Finance Director in 2015. She played a central role in its financial and operational build-out through to its AIM listing in 2016. Angela has also served as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at AIM-listed Aptamer Group plc.

Yamin 'Mo' Khan, Chief Executive Officer of hVIVO, said: “We are delighted to welcome Angela to hVIVO at an important stage in the Group's development. We have established a differentiated, integrated early clinical development platform, supported by strong commercial momentum and an expanding orderbook, with further opportunity across our four service lines and through our expanded therapeutic offering. Angela’s experience of supporting listed healthcare businesses through operational growth and commercialisation will be highly valuable as we convert these strengths into sustainable, profitable growth and long-term shareholder value.”

Angela Hildreth, incoming Chief Financial Officer of hVIVO, said: “hVIVO occupies a genuinely specialist position in early clinical development, with an integrated platform and a significant opportunity to support clients across more of the drug development pathway.
