HONGKONG LAND HOLDINGS LIMITED ('HKLH')

DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS - SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDER


On 4th March 2005, HKLH received notification that on 3rd March 2005 Cheung Kong
(Holdings) Limited ('Cheung Kong') and Hutchison Whampoa Limited ('Hutchison'),
through their respective subsidiaries, no longer had a notifiable interest of 3%
in the ordinary shares of HKLH.


The holding of Cheung Kong and Hutchison was previously disclosed at 3.91% in
September 2004.
